80 Tested places for safe online shopping in China

Online Shopping in China? Chinese stores, they come and they go.

In the recent comments I got on my blog posts, some people were recommending other sites with large lists of Chinese shops and Chinese wholesale stores. Hmmmm, why?

That’s how I figured out I needed to update StartBuyingInChina. And that’s what I did.  I made some mayor updates on the front page, on our Best of 2014 list and added a complete new page with a quick overview of up to 80 different shops….

But how do you know that all these shops are safe?

1. All stores in the Online Shopping in China list are reviewed!

Till this summer, I had (only) 40 Chinese shops listed. The reason was I want to do a short review of every new site to see if it is legitimate or not. I just don’t want to recommend any shop that will surely take your money and never delivers. You can do a similar test too, see this blog: Fake Chinese shopping sites – Black list

On StartBuyingInChina you will find only real stores. Every new store is reviewed.

But reviewing takes time. In the last weeks I reviewed more than 40 new shops from China. Although, these shops were new to me ;-). Some of them exist for many years already. This survey resulted in a complete new list of almost 80 tested China Stores.

It’s called the China Stores List. You’ll find the list in the menu too.

You can find all these shops for online shopping in China in one single page. If it was possible I added our rating to this shop. These ratings are based on an extensive review on quality, prices, delivery, customer care and the overall quality of the shop. I’m sure you understand this is not possible for every site.

If you are missing a Chinese shop, a wholesale market from China or Hong Kong or anywhere else, and you think this shop should be listed, please leave a comment under the list. I will check if this shop is reliable and can be added.

2. An updated best of 2014 list

You can find the second hugh update in the Best Chinese shopping sites list 2014 list. This is our best-viewed page. And this page is completely actualized!

On our Best Chinese shopping sites 2014 you will find only shops we really can recommend. We have good experiences with these shops and hope will have that too. The difference with the China Stores List is that on this list, there are also shops we have no real experiences with.

Some shops have been removed from this list because people were complaining or we encountered problems with these shops. Some new shops have been added to the list. Like SammyDress, SheInside or Teavivre (if you drink Chinese tea).

All shops have a short description and if possible our rating.

3. Our favorite online shopping in China stores are on the front page!

The third large update can be find on our front page. Just below the optin for the ebook, you will find 6 categories with our favourite shops.

This is always a good place to start. And I hope these shops can be your favourite too.

I’m sorry to say, but there can always be problems when you buy online. I just don’t hope this will happen to you. If you do have bad experiences, but surely also when you have positive experiences, write a review about this shops. You will help other readers a lot!

4. Be on the safe site and use our links

Before you go to your favourite Chinese shops, always pay a visit to our China Stores List. You will see immediately if this shop is still trustworthy or not. You won’t loose your money.

One more thing… I like to explain this. It costs you nothing. You are just helping me.
